Greetings! My name is Batu, and I'm a second-year PhD student in physics at the University of Minnesota. I graduated from Boğaziçi University with a double major in physics and mathematics in 2023. 

I'm mainly interested in phenomena that touch both condensed matter and high energy physics. Currently I'm working to understand the properties of particular non-invertible symmetries formulated on the lattice.
